Lady Cloud

Clouds have long inspired artists due to their symbolic representation of purity and wholeness. In Vietnamese folk culture, they often appear at the feet of deities and signify the powerful forces of nature. By combining quartz as a material with cloud-like forms, the concept creates a meaningful connection to spirituality.

The Lady Dior, launched on the arm of Lady Diana, represents an architectural homage to the House's excellence. This iconic cannage design reinvents itself with each season, showcasing various colors, sizes, techniques, and materials. Tia Thuy Nguyen aims to create a sculpture of a reimagined Lady Dior bag that is durable, transparent, and capable of projecting pure energy and compassion, juxtaposing the sturdiness of stone with the airiness of clouds to challenge viewers’ imaginations.

Tia believes that fashion accessories are expressions of personality and desire, and her appreciation for the Lady Dior goes beyond luxury. The bag symbolizes confidence, resilient femininity, and love, inspired by Princess Diana's compassion for humanity.

Choosing quartz as the primary material, Tia draws upon its healing properties in feng shui, where it is believed to balance energy. Quartz’s durability and aesthetic qualities mirror the qualities of clouds, allowing light to pass through and reflect surroundings. The contrast between quartz and the softness of clouds invites personal contemplation while maintaining a sense of liberty and healing.
