The Coy Table Lamp, designed by the India-based studio Stem, features a minimalist aesthetic that blends organic shapes with geometric structures, creating an engaging visual dynamic.

With a deep respect for natural materials, Coy embraces individuality in its design, exploring the interaction between organic and geometric forms. Subtle depressions allow light and shadow to play across its surface, enhancing the lamp’s modest character and transforming it into a sculptural piece suitable for any setting.

Crafted from cast aluminum, the lamp retains its natural finish, showcasing a unique texture derived from the sand casting process. Handcrafted in collaboration with skilled artisans, Coy honors intricate handmade techniques, placing material significance at the core of its design narrative.

Stem is led by Aman Bhayana and Sugandhi Mehrotra, and their work is defined by the simplicity of thought. The studio emphasizes tactile qualities in their designs and strives for cultural and societal relevance, questioning the role of objects within a given space.
