The design draws inspiration from the traditional nomadic lifestyle, emphasizing harmony with nature through its “Live-by-Water” concept. The resort is planned along a water pathway connecting Swan Lake and the Xilamuren River, forming a vibrant and ecologically integrated circulation system that links different functional areas.

The resort’s core features include a multifunctional complex housing a theater, exhibition hall, cultural fair, and food market, arranged symmetrically along a sunset-view axis that integrates with the water trace. The architecture uses durable, sustainable materials such as PTFE membranes and traditional building techniques, promoting low energy consumption and decarbonization. The amphitheater blends seamlessly with the landscape, creating a sense of belonging and respect for the natural surroundings.

One of the most captivating elements is the wind installation, which embodies the spirit of the steppe. Made from white steel and blue cloth, it moves dynamically with the wind, symbolizing the Tengri River in the sky. This installation, along with the overall landscape design, fosters a sensory experience that engages people’s sight, sound, taste, smell, touch, and mind — reflecting the harmony between humans and nature. Through these design elements, the resort aims to build a space for communication, interaction, and reverence for the natural beauty of the steppe, celebrating the vital connection between water, wind, land, and people.
