GRID
Italy, Mozzo
completed
in 2024
This renovation project focused on creating fluid spaces that reflect the homeowners' personalities and can adapt over time. The young couple desired a space that includes a dedicated studio and a welcoming kitchen area that showcases their love for cooking.

The entrance features a change in flooring and a cut that serves as a visual glimpse while also functioning as a passage. A double sliding wooden panel system acts as a closure, screening access to the hallway and studio while allowing spatial continuity between the living area and the studio when opened.

In the sleeping area, a wall-colored volume houses a compact laundry space and the master bedroom entrance. Furnishings were developed in collaboration with the other homeowner’s furniture company. The bathrooms use the same terrazzo flooring as the entrance, complemented by wall tiles that form a clean grid, a nod to the homeowner’s graphic design background. The renovation includes an entrance volume, oak sliding panels, a sleek white linear kitchen with a veined granite countertop, and a stainless-steel island.

In the studio, an oak bookshelf with a Fenix worktop organizes the workspace. A bold blue volume enhances the living room with a playful touch. The final result is a harmonious blend of materials, custom-made furnishings, and iconic design pieces that embody the essence of the home and the owners' personalities.
