The factory complex consists of three distinct buildings—two dedicated to manufacturing operations employing advanced German technology and a third utilizing cutting-edge Italian techniques. These structures are interconnected by a versatile multi-purpose building that serves various functions.

The third building represents a commitment to innovation and sustainable development, symbolizing Huy Hoang’s 40 years of growth in the industry. It aims not only for Gold LEED certification in its construction but also for Gold LEED standards in its manufacturing operations, reflecting Huy Hoang’s dedication to environmentally friendly practices and modern industrial benchmarks.

To create a spacious and functional interior, the factory employs a Core and Shell structural design tailored to the humid tropical climate of Northern Vietnam. This climate is characterized by hot summers, heavy rainfall, and cold winters with limited precipitation. The building features a facade system with concrete lam elements, skillfully designed with varying densities and opening angles to address these climatic challenges.

For example, the south and southeast facades incorporate openings extended to 90 degrees to maximize sunlight and airflow, while the northern facade features openings greater than 90 degrees with higher density to protect against cold winter winds. The western facade employs sharp opening angles and maximum lam density to minimize thermal radiation.

The overall design philosophy emphasizes public space, fostering an open campus environment within the factory complex. The operational building includes exhibition areas, training spaces, and offices designed with open layouts that promote collaboration and accessibility. The main hall functions as a museum, allowing visitors to engage with artifacts and learn about the company’s history, while a gallery showcases the intricate production processes behind Huy Hoang’s products.
